Abstract
This issue brief prepared for the Outcomes Roundtable for Children and Families addresses important issues associated with the emergence of practice-based evidence (PBE), with particular emphasis on:
- the emergence of PBE as a construct,
- the role of PBE as part of an array of evidence supported and evidence-informed practices,
- characteristics and dimensions that begin to define PBE more precisely,
- potential policy implications for the use of PBE in services/systems.
