The MVANG fosters collaboration among researchers, clinicians and organizations (both public and private) and provides high quality evidence-based education and training to rehabilitation professionals to promote and advance the science and practice of rehabilitation appropriate for military and Veteran populations and their family members.
Sponsored by the National Office of Special Education Programs Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Midwest PBIS, the forum has over 3000 registered participants. Additional CFS faculty within the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities are serving as lead presenters and/or exemplars across sessions related to PBIS.
Dr. Bloom, Associate Professor in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program in USF's Department of Child and Family Studies has recently returned from Israel and Turkey, where she served as invited speaker at two conferences focused on the field of applied behavior analysis.

This award is given to an early career practitioner whose work in positive behavior support demonstrates outstanding achievements in mentorship, service, and commitment to the application of positive behavior support (PBS) principles and technology in the field.
She was presented the award at the USF Hispanic Heritage Celebration September 29 at the USF Marshall Center.
