Abstract

This text discusses body focused repetitive behavior disorders with an emphasis on tic disorders and trichotillomania. Chapters focus on the analysis and treatment of these disorders.

The 14 chapters in this edited text are authored by the leading researchers in the area of tic disorders, trichotillomania, and other repetitive behavior disorders such as oral-digital habits. For each of the disorders covered in the text, chapters describe the disorder, review behavioral approaches to analysis and intervention, and present a detailed treatment manual describing habit reversal procedures for use by practitioners.
