CFS Announces New ABA Student Assistance Fund
CFS faculty Drs. Kim Crosland, Lise Fox, Mario Hernandez, Ray Miltenberger, and Tim Weil have initiated a new fund for students in the Applied Behavior Analysis Master’s Program. Through payroll deduction, they have committed $10,000 over 5 years to the ABA Student Assistance Fund.
Students in the ABA program can apply for funding to help them complete their master’s thesis or other research. Funding will be determined based on the merits of the application. The quality of the research and necessity of the items for which funding is requested will determine the merit of the application.
"The ABA program has accomplished much in the last few years, and I am excited this fund has been made available for student support," said Dr. Mario Hernandez, CFS Department Chair.
For those interested in contributing to the fund, there are several ways to do so.
- For USF faculty and staff, payments can be made through payroll deduction by filling out the attached form.
- Checks can be made payable to the USF Foundation and in the memo section, write “ABA Student Assistance Fund # 530025.”
