Sulphur Springs Neighborhood of Promise (SSNOP) – Stability Study

The SSNOP Study is examining the reasons for residential mobility in the Sulphur Springs neighborhood and how it affects student mobility and reduced academic success of students attending Sulphur Springs K-8 (formerly SS Elementary).


To help the SSNOP Leadership Council learn more about the conditions experienced by community residents in their homes and in the neighborhood, which may affect the long-term stability of Sulphur Springs, in general, and the educational success of school-age children living in the neighborhood, in particular.


Long Term Impact

Dissemination of study finding and recommendations regarding how best to support residents with families who experience high rates of mobility. Contribute to knowledge on how place-based initiatives such as the SSNOP can better support the needs of families that it serves.
