Overview
Parent Connectors is a parent support program to improve outcomes for students who have emotional disturbances, especially for those youth who are placed in special education programs, are well documented.
Goals
To develop and document the feasibility of an intervention (Parent Connectors) aimed at increasing the engagement of families in the broad educational development of their children who have emotional disturbances.
Long-term Impact
To produce a fully developed intervention that will increase family involvement through a peer-to-peer support program, which will lead to improved child functioning.
