Dr. Amanda Keating Provides Keynote Address for Jamaica Autism Support Association's Annual Workshop
The Jamaica Autism Support Association's (JASA) Annual Workshop was held July 6 & 7, providing an opportunity for teachers, caregivers & parents to learn more about autism and how to help children in their care. The workshops were self-help oriented and focused on innovative approaches to autism. Dr. Amanda Keating, licensed psychologist at the University of South Florida, discussed the importance of schoolwide positive behavior support and the importance of using everyday moments to teach new skills.
