Children's Mental Health Awareness Week: May 3 - 8

The University Beat radio report on USF’s Children’s Mental Health Research & Policy Conference ran on WUSF 89.7 FM from May 3rd to 7th.  Reporter Mark Schreiner interviewed CFS Chair and Professor Dr. Mario Hernandez, Dr. Gary Blau, Chief of the Child and Adolescent and Family Branch of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and Dr. Fran Butterfoss, President of consulting group "Coalitions Work" and keynote speaker of the recent Children’s Mental Health Research & Policy Conference, where the focus was on how collaboration can be used to overcome the one-two punch of more children needing services while less funding is available.

The report, along with a number of web-only pieces, is available at www.wusf.org/university_beat.
