CFS's Dr. Krista Kutash to Receive Outstanding Contributions Award for 2004

On Monday, April 26, The National Association of Rehabilitation Research and Training Centers (NARRTC) recognized the work of Krista Kutash by presenting her with the Outstanding Contributions Award for 2004 in a ceremony in Washington DC.

The ultimate mission of NARRTC is to promote the full inclusion of persons with disabilties in American society through applied research and training. As an association, NARRTC values excellence in the quality of the research process and product, relevance of research efforts to solving issues of disability and service delivery, and products which are disseminated, used, and evaluated in such a manner as to make a difference in the lives of persons with disabilities.

Krista was recognized for her work in furthering the organization's goals and for being the treasurer of the organization since July 1990. It is this combination of her advocacy for persons with disabilties and her willingness to volunteer her time to the organization's efforts that this award was given.

The Department of Child and Family Studies (CFS) is a department of the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute, University of South Florida. The faculty and staff of CFS are committed to enhancing the development, mental health and well-being of children and families through leadership in integrating research, theory & practice.
