Dr. Heather Peshak George Provides Keynote Address at the Behavior Education Technology Conference

Her presentation, Building District Capacity to Systematically Improve Outcomes for All, addressed the number of schools engaging in Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports and demonstrated improved student and teacher outcomes and reduced disciplinary exclusions.

CFS's Dr. Rose Iovannone Receives Internal Research Grant from the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences

The grant will provide her the opportunity to evaluate the potential of implementing a functional behavior assessment and behavior support plan framework for transition-aged youth with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders in pre-employment settings.

Dr. Trina Spencer is Appointed Chair of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association Committee

She will serve as chair of ASHA's Clinical Research, Implementation Science, and Evidence-Based Practice committee from January 2020 to December 2022.

Dr. Therese Sandomierski to Receive the Association for Positive Behavior Support's 2018 Ted Carr Early Career Practitioner Award

This award is given to an early career practitioner whose work in positive behavior support demonstrates outstanding achievements in mentorship, service, and commitment to the application of positive behavior support (PBS) principles and technology in the field.

Ercilia R. Calcano, MPH selected as a USF Hispanic Advisory Committee Pathways Awardee

She was presented the award at the USF Hispanic Heritage Celebration September 29 at the USF Marshall Center.
