Biography

Laura Rodríguez López is the Training Director for the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities (FCIC), the University of South Florida Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). She also serves as New Student Coordinator for the Department of Child & Family Studies. She has a B.A. in Psychology & Political Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, and is currently enrolled in the Ed.D in Program Development doctoral program at USF. Laura has worked in higher education for over ten years and has extensive experience in student advising, program evaluation, training, teaching, and enrollment management.

Laura’s work at FCIC involves leadership of the interdisciplinary training program, which includes the Graduate Certificate in Positive Behavior Support and the Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (Developmental Disabilities focus area). Laura is engaged in research concerning the advancement of accessibility, diversity, and inclusion in higher education.
